TBTRVTable data access components library offers some nonvisual components for Borland Delphi. They serve for access to Btrieve / P.SQL RDBMS. TBTRVTable is an alternative to other access components like Pervasive's PDAC, Reggatta's Titan and some others. TBTRVTable uses Btrieve API routines directly. Btrieve API routines allow an application developer to use a third-generation language's native procedure or function calls to access the Btrieve / P.SQL database server and control all aspects of Btrieve file operation. The API provides a library of standard database access and retrieval functions in the form of a dynamic runtime library, WBTRV32.DLL, that can be linked in by the application. Especially important for our purpose is the BTRVID function which is for now the only function our components support. Later we will add support for DTI (Distributed Tuning Interface) and other functions. TBTVTable is basic part of our huge Accounting application.
